Rental Property Management Software for Teams
Written for the principal, not for the person posting the listing.
If you manage doors for other people, the person who needs the numbers is not the person writing the ad. RentPlace keeps inquiry data standard across every agent, so the owner report is comparable.

Where RentPlace stops
RentPlace is the listing and inquiry layer. It is not accounting software, it does not run maintenance tickets, it does not collect rent and it does not perform consumer reports. It sits alongside whatever your firm already uses for the ledger, whether that is DoorLoop at $149 to $759 a month by unit count, Buildium at $62 to $400 a month to start, AppFolio, last listed at $1.49 a unit with a $298 minimum, Yardi Breeze at $1 a unit with a $100 minimum, Rent Manager, last listed at $1 a unit with a $200 minimum, Rentvine, from $1.50 a unit on one plan, Rentec Direct at $2 to $2.50 a unit with a $50 minimum, Propertyware at $1 a unit with a $250 minimum or a spreadsheet, and it owns the part of the process that decides time-to-lease. If your team is pricing a showing tool on top of the ledger, we have also worked out what ShowMojo costs per unit and per listing, and what Tenant Turner costs per unit and per listing slot.
Portfolio vacancy in one view
Every unit under management with days vacant beside it, grouped by the owner you report to. Time-to-lease becomes a number you can put in front of a client instead of a feeling about how the quarter went.
Because every listing in the portfolio asks the same screening questions, the applicant data behind that number is comparable across agents, buildings and owners. That is the part most listing tools leave to whoever happened to write the post. The rental listing website features page covers what each piece does, and how to list rental property walks a unit through end to end.

What changes when more than one person is listing
A landlord with four doors needs a good listing. A firm with four hundred needs the same listing standard applied by fifteen people who joined at different times, and a record of who did what.
- Roles and permissions
- A leasing agent sees the properties assigned to them. A regional lead sees their buildings. The principal sees the whole portfolio, including the units nobody has touched in three weeks.
- Audit trail
- Who changed a listing, what the previous value was, who replied to which inquiry and when. Useful for training, essential when an owner asks what happened on one specific unit.
- Standardized inquiry data
- The same fields on every applicant across every agent and every property, so a report to one owner means the same thing as a report to another.
- Consistent screening questions
- One saved questionnaire applied to every applicant on a listing. Consistency is also how fair-housing-minded practice is supposed to work, though the policy remains yours to set and to apply.
- Owner-facing reporting
- Vacancy and time-to-lease grouped by owner, exportable into the report you already send. Manager plan and above.
- Bulk import and API
- Bring an existing portfolio in by CSV, or push listings and pull inquiries through the REST API from the system you already run.
The questions your IT and finance people will ask
Answered up front, because a listing tool that cannot clear a security review is not a listing tool you can roll out to fifteen agents.

Put a figure on the vacancy you are carrying
We publish no claim about how much faster units fill on RentPlace, because we have no data to support one. Use a unit from your own portfolio instead.
The Manager plan is $299 a month for up to 150 active listings. Compare that against one long vacancy on one mid-market unit and the argument makes itself. Full detail on best rental listing sites pricing.
days
We compute rent divided by 30, times your days. These are your figures, not our research.
Rent you do not get back
- Portfolio plan, one year
- Lost rent as a share of that
- %
One vacant stretch on one unit is usually the larger number. That is the whole argument.
